This is a patriotic piece especially suited for Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day or the 4th of July. It is series of short (~1 min. each) vignettes portraying an American characteristic which impressed me as an immigrant to this country. The piece is dedicated to the great American writer John Steinbeck, whose novel “The Grapes of Wrath” had its 75th anniversary in 2014.
