Composer's Note: Rhythmic and spikey, this four movement work for string ensemble is a welcome addition to the chamber music repertoire. The suite was premiered at the Curtis Institute of Music on February 18, 1976 with the composer as conductor. It has been featured by the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia conducted by Mark Mostovoy, Music Director.
