Distribution Services
Subito Music Corporation offers a package of Distribution Services for independent or self-published composers. Under this arrangement, Subito will accept specific works for sale or rental distribution while the composer retains the individual copyright for each work. Performing materials for all works must be prepared by the composer according to Subito’s specified guidelines (see below).
Submitting works for distribution:
Works must be the composer’s original compositions Arrangements of public domain works may be considered All permissions for use of non-public domain text must be secured in writing and presented along with submitted materialsMaking distributed works available:
- Works for sale will be available through Subito’s on-line store
- Works available for rental will be listed in both printed and on-line catalogs
Any additional advertising or promotion other than the above is the responsibility of the composer.
Also included:
- Production files will be stored on Subito’s server for duration of agreement
- Secure credit card processing for sales and rental orders
- Sales orders: printed on-demand, invoiced, and shipped as orders are received
- Rental orders: rental contracts issued, materials invoiced, shipped, and tracked, returned materials received and stored
Composer obligations:
- Responsible for producing complete rental materials (scores and parts)
- Submitted works must meet all requirements as stipulated in the Submission Guidelines

Composers are required to purchase 10 copies (score only) of each distributed work for promotional purposes.
Subito will consider submissions by mail only. Please do not send digital files electronically. You may submit up to four (4) works in a single package and include the following information:
- Title, Instrumentation, Duration
- Format: Finale, Sibelius, SCORE, etc.
- Performance history — premiere date, number of performances
- Recording: CD of live performance, Midi file, other
- Biographical or career information
