Dan Locklair: Premiere "In Mystery and Wonder" [The Casavant Diptych] for Casavant Freres (Quebec) 2004, in celebration of this distinguished pipe organ builder's 125th Anniversary.

Edward Knight: Premiere "Cradle of Dreams" Plays Centennial, National Museum More than 250 musicians joined forces to premiere "Cradle of Dreams, " Edward Knight's celebration for chorus and orchestra in Fall 2004. Oklahoma City University commissioned the six-minute work in honor of its centennial, dubbed the Celebration of the Century. "Cradle of Dreams" received its premiere August 24th by the OCU Festival Chorus and Orchestra, conducted by Randi Von Ellefson. The piece, with text by M.J. Alexander, received an encore performance November 13th at the induction ceremonies for the Oklahoma Commerce and Industry Hall of Honor at the National Western Heritage Museum and Cowboy Hall of Fame.

Sonata Through Salt-Rimmed Glasses for Trumpet/Flugelhorn and Piano was premiered June 10, 2006 at the International Trumpet Guild Conference, Rowan University, Glassboro, New Jersey.

Deborah Drattell: Upcoming Projects The Palm Beach Opera's Young Artist Program will feature a workshop of Ms.Drattell's most recent full-length opera, "Alma," in April 2006. She is currently working on two new chamber operas: "Vashti," based on the Babylonian princess who was the daughter of Belshazzar, with designer Catherine Zuber making her directorial debut; and "Anastasia," the story of a young woman who claimed to be the youngest daughter Nicholas II and Alexandra, with a libretto by Jan Breslauer. In July 2006, The Jerusalem Symphony will record Ms. Drattell's "Lilith" and "The Lost Lover." (last updated December, 2005)
