Subito's Submission Guidelines

Subito Music does consider unsolicited submissions from experienced composers for review. However, we are extremely selective in accepting works for publication.

We are primarily interested in works for orchestra or large ensemble, although scores in other genres will be reviewed. Works submitted for consideration must have received a first performance and must have a recording of a live performance available for promotion.

Each submission must include:

  1. A cover letter with full contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  2. A printed score or photocopy of the manuscript for each work. Computer files will not be reviewed. Please submit no more than four works for consideration.
  3. A CD recording of a live performance for each work. MIDI files will not be accepted. Each work should be clearly marked on the CD label (title, duration).
  4. Biographical/Career information; Works list; Reviews: works included or other representative works; Upcoming performances for any works submitted (if possible); Other information: performance histories, future commissions, etc.
